Beyond Prewrath: End-Time Prophecy

This "beyond prewrath" premillennial view is based on there being three chronologically different "whole" dispensational raptures, which are associated with three theophanies: Revelation 8:5 (elect), 11:19 (Jewish people), and 16:18 ("sheep"). This dispensational view has elements of existing well-established premillennial views.

First, midtribulation - Jesus returns, from heaven to earth, at the midpoint with a resurrection of the saints, day of the Lord, gathering then fleeing of those in Jerusalem, though not for a rapture. Satan also arrives at this midpoint, indwells within the man of lawlessness forming the Antichrist with the temple abomination. There are three angel proclamations (Rev. 14:6-11) of which the third and last is considered the "last trumpet" resurrection (1 Cor. 15:51-52).

Second, prewrath - A rapture, for the elect, after the great tribulation, though in the seventh seal. Prewrath is a good view which this author previously held to before seeing the larger three-time dispensational rapture view.

Third, posttribulation - A rapture at the end of the 70th week, though mainly, if only, for those Jewish. Peters's Pentecost sermon restricted to them in Acts 2:14-21, ff. 5:42. OT Joel 2:28-32.

Chapter 3 presents this new view and also determines the range of the seventh open seal using Revelation 8:1 and parallel with Noah before the flood. The first blown trumpet in Revelation 8:7 with "hail and fire mixed with blood" is considered the start of the wrath of God as prophesized in Luke 17:29 with its "fire and sulfur". Having the rapture in Revelation 8:5 and the wrath of God two verses later provides strong support of a prophetic same day event. Revelation 7:9-17 rejoicing in heaven is considered consequence of the chronologically earlier Revelation 8:5 earthly rapture.

Chapter 4 "solves" Daniel 8:13-14 with the two Holy Ones discussing how long is the vision. Verse 13 is the question and verse 14 is the answer. Since all Scripture is exact and duration numbers are involved an equation of equality can be formed and solved. A second equation become evident and it leads to ironically tightly bounding the duration of the sixth open seal.
