Beyond Childhood

I grew up in East Central Mississippi which is apparently the area that influenced Eckle's ( Nickname for Smith Wood in that part of the country ) writing. He does a very good job of bringing the characters to life and keeping us intrigued with his plot. I recommend it to all Southerners who remember the South as it used to be... some for the better, and some for the worse...
