Confusing Read

I know poetry is all about contemplation but this poetry book was so confusing for me to read. It was so heavily focused on love and God. I read through the entire thing but didn't enjoy it much. I'm sure some people would but it was definitely not my cup of tea. There were a few poems in there that stuck out to me, but other than that, not really.
