Between Worlds

By Alexis J. Alex

BETWEEN WORLDS is not just a story, it is the account of a mysterious, frightening, dark, and absolutely beautiful journey. When an orphaned child is in peril, a most unlikely couple saves her and raises her as one of their own. Young Amelia finds herself living a life amongst vampires, not as food, nor as a pet, but as a daughter. The heroine is caught in the middle of a battle between races, as well as her battle with her identity as she is being fostered by monsters, but are they really monsters or family? The situation becomes more complicated, when a powerful half-breed vampire who threatens the existence of the pure blood race unearths old grievances. Caught in a battle between good and evil, and forbidden to share her impossible reality, Amelia's mortality seems to draw her further away from her beloved parents. Only when put to the most unthinkable tests and choices that could change the outcome of her human life, does she discover her true inner strength. With the love of her forsaken vampire parents, she travels down a path of pain, beauty, and ultimate sacrifice. Will Amelia ever find a place where she truly belongs, or is she forever destined to be trapped between worlds?
