A story, with a sensitive topic at its heart, that explains contrasting perspectives of spirituality of eastern and practicality of western cultures. The current education systems, globally, has a fundamental shortcoming. They focus so much to understand the outside world. However, we are not trained or made aware that a whole different world resides inside. To explore inner world, whole life is a short voyage. It is the self realization that can bring a person closer to the Ultimate light, from where everything emanates and in which everything converges. India, once, had a rich heritage of the inside out education system, but lost for an education system built to suit needs of industrialization. Whoever has made an attempt, even a thought, to reflect deeper into them would connect to the theme very well. Who have not taken the journey to inner self, I humbly hope, '...between the lines' will inspire to do so. It is story of choosing hope over surrender, possibility over practicality, Omnipresence over science. Characters-Garud, Jatayu, Suman, Kartik, Kirti and others would come out of the pages to tell their side of the sensitive topic.
