How Wonderful it is to Remember...

'Between the Lines-Reflections of War and Peacetime' ' invoked wonderful memories of war stories that I remember my dad sharing with me when I was a little girl. At the time I didn't understand why he was even sharing them with me. As an adult, I now undertstand that all he was doing was sharing a part of his life with me. Now when he shares war stories I will listen and hold on to every word.The thought that L. William Cracken would take the time to write this book, open up his life to share his stories, and create this legacy for his children, grandchildren and the literary world in itself is Priceless.I would be honored to meet L.
