Lucy Ann Vallera Luhan, a first generation Italian-American, was raised in a culture that emphasized family, friends and food can provide more fun and happiness than hordes of gold. Her husband Jorge grew up in Argentina with similar values. When their happy lifestyle in California was suddenly upended, Lucy and Jorge decided to move to Italy to fully explore its culture. Their new venture, Villa Lucia, soon became a destination for friends old and new to enjoy the art of cooking, the art of eating and the simple pleasures of the Mediterranean lifestyle.
