Between Spaces: Book 1- 3
Three thousand years of history. Zero preparation. One cup of tea that is about to go cold for a very long time.
Lucas Marsh was twenty-four, between jobs, and entirely unequipped for the universe. That was before his four-year-old sister found a tarnished metal device in the hallway, pressed a few buttons, and dissolved reality beneath his feet.
What began as an accident quickly turns into an unruly sprint across centuries, gathered here in the first three books of the Between Spaces series:
Between Things: Armed only with a blue hoodie and pure denial, Lucas is hurled into history's deep end. He dodges volcanic ash in Pompeii, ducks rapiers in seventeenth-century Paris, and trades barbs in a Viking feasting hall, all while looking for an off-switch that doesn't exist.
Between Moments: Lucas finally learns to steer the artifact. Mostly. But steering means making deliberate choices, and control brings a brutal cost: every time he lands somewhere long enough to be treated like a human being, he has to choose when to vanish. Especially from a candlelit room in eighteenth-century Venice.
Between Lives: History stops being a solo trip. When a woman grabs his hand, Lucas finds himself dragging someone else through ancient earthquakes, royal hunts, and modern kitchens. The orb can leap across millennia in seconds, but it cannot make an impossible choice for the woman he loves.
Pages of sharp humor, lived-in history, and the stubborn habit of surviving rooms you were never supposed to enter.
