Between glances and discourses

The way in which man explains his actions on the planet implies an understanding of his actions towards nature through the adoption of an anthropocentric ethical model, i.e. one that focuses only on the human species. It has to be considered that technology, if used well, is an important ally of man and has improved the lives of millions of people everywhere. However, the insatiable lack of control of economic imperialism relegates the majority of the world's population to extreme poverty and environmental devastation. However, it is necessary to practise environmental ethics that takes into account other forms of life in the same way, be they sentient, biological or systemic, because nature depends on all of us not because we are in it, but because we are it, or rather, an active ethics incorporated into everyday life.
