"My soul recognized and craved the rarity of a possibility of the greatest gift of a lifetime."
Wow. I think Asher is the swooniest of the heroes in the Sewing in SoCal series and that's saying a lot since I adore Ben, Malachi, Drew, and Peter. I loved Asher's unwavering focus on serving God with his musical gift, his passion for reaching the lost, his gentleness, his humility, and his perseverance. I could vividly imagine him worshiping on stage with his guitar and enjoyed every minute of his band's performance throughout the book. And it was amazing to truly see Betsy underneath that ever-present sarcasm and wall of snide remarks. Learning about Argentine culture through Betsy's extended family was quite delightful as was getting to know her tender, loving, loyal, musical heart. And, as always, the banter between the two main characters is fabulous. Being inside their thoughts through first person perspective will bring more than a few chortles and belly laughs as this romantic comedy unfolds during a band tour. I am sad to see this series end but so happy to have met and loved these five couples. Bring on the next series, Sarah Monzon!
I received the book from the author and was under no obligation to post a positive review. All opinions are my own.
