Ever have your stomach talk to you? Boss you around? How 'bout talk to and even threaten your friends? Yes, clearly Grace's stomach is out of control. How she gets control back is a story about true friendship.This story was dreamed up with three imaginative and adorable first graders. They contributed all the "correct behavior" and decisions. I, apparently, was the driving force behind the evil stomach. It just goes to show how much an old guy can learn from kids!The illustrations are hybrid efforts of the students' artistic abilities and their gifted modeling/acting skills. Though it's originally published for its co-creators and their families, there's ample story and lesson learning here to make it a worthy read for all young readers... and/or parents of young readers.
