Best of Cheapskate Monthly

I have to admit, I don't understand the other reviews, but then again I'm not into dumpster diving or making things from dryer lint. I'm looking for advice from someone who's been there and done that! Mary Hunt is that person. Her slogan of "Bringing Dignity to the Art of Living Within Your Means" says it best. I loved this book, and her updated and combined book "Complete Cheapskate" brings us into the new century!

Very motivating book. I've read several times.

This was very motivating way for me to save money. I recently gave my copy to my sister. I've read the book several times and book marked interesting household tips.

Lots of Really Good Tips

This book includes a lot of tips for managing your finances. I especially liked the way she handles the "allowance" issue with her kids. The book reminds us that materialism doesn't provide joy, and may eventually give us lots of grief! The book also has a lot of humor in it, too, so you don't feel so totally depressed when you look at your own financial situation.
