Somewhere around midnight I must have dozed off, but now I am completely awake. Did I hear something or is my imagination playing tricks on me? I have stayed here enough to know the night sounds the house makes, every house is different. There it is again, it sounds like someone at the back door. Not knocking, working the door knob or something like that.I get up and grab an aluminum baseball bat that is in the family room for some reason, I'm glad it is.
