If you only have one soup-recipe book...

...you can count on this one. This book is filled with an expansive assortment of recipes from all cultures and cuisines. Every recipe I've made has been truly excellent, and I have a large number of the others on my "got to try that one, too" list. Finally, this book is jam-packed with pictures. Each recipe has one or more photos associated with the various steps in the recipe, but they're thorougly uselss/unnecessary. For exampple, they show nothing more than a hand stirring the broth, squeezing a lemon, or grating some pepper into the soup. However, each recipe also has a much larger photograph--many full-page-size--associated with it that shows the finished product in a bowl, poised for serving. These are a mouth-watering delight to look at. Keep your eyes out for a copy of this one.

FANTASTIC

One of the very best soup cook books I've ever used. Recipes are simple (my children can use them) and very delicious. I use it all the time. I collect cook books, and this one I use every week.
