Perfect

This is an ideal vocab builder. It is organized logically by situation and is very comprehensive. It provides a set of words, then tells you where you can find related subjects in the margins. It also gives plurals for every noun (doesn't depend on rules, etc.). The only downside is that this book does require a certain level of understanding before use- there are no conjugations for the verbs and the user must be able to recognize the difference between certain constructions (i.e. seperable verbs versus verbs with a preposition). Great book, perfect for AP exam, CLEP, review, supplement to a class, etc.

An excellent text!

There are any number of texts on German vocabulary. I have a number of them, but this one is the most attractively presented. It is arranged by categories and is very easy and pleasant to use.Like most Berlitz products, this is very nicely done.
