BERLITZ ESSENTIAL ITALIAN

I am using this book together with an Italian Reader for a class in beginner Italian. The book is very clearly written and easy to follow and work with both in class and at home.

Excellent for brushing up

Found this to be rather useful as a refresher. I can imagine a beginner feeling a little lost or overwhelmed without classroom instruction or a tutor to model pronunciation and train the ear to hear this language. It includes written dialogues, vocabulary, grammatical instruction, reviews and tests.

I learned italian in less than 20 lessons

I loved this book! It taught me really well. I was really prepared to go to Rome after using this book because I could speak the language. It is easy to use and self-explanitory. I am very glad that I used it.

An excellent learning tool
