Basic Cooking at its Best

I have been using this book for years and have tried, with no success to find a new copy. It is, hands down, one of the best cookbooks for making all of those things that defy the average person. From making the "perfect" hamburger to making a jelly roll that is foolproof, this is book for you!

Great old-school cookbook!

Full flavor traditional recipes. Full of wonderful anecdotes. The best lemon meringue pie recipe and egg nog recipe anywhere.
