In this book you will find experiences of my grandmother, brother, and daughter's deaths. How it felt to be one of the first blacks to attend an all-white school, how I was betrayed by my first love. Having to raise my grandchildren, one of them severely autistic, I wrote this book to encourage someone that no matter how bad life gets, God is always there to see you through it. As the title states, I was bent but not broken. Through it all I would not change a thing, because it made me the strong woman that I am today. I give God all the glory! My proceeds from this book will go toward making my grandson's future a happy one. He is seventeen and growing.
