Excellent text and artwork for any age

Benny is an inquisitive young Beaver who is relocated with other beavers from a farming area to the mountains.Great story and paintings by Harry Baerg.It talks about the beavers habits of cutting down and eating wood with their teeth from trees. But they have to keep the water level high by adding wood or that other creatures such-as predators like wolves or mountain lions do not get into their nests and eat them. This book shows how farmers find the beavers and how the forest service trap and relocate them and-watch carefully over the beavers until they are safe.It also talks about how the beavers mate build their own nest and raise their young.
