Benny The Bearded Bumble Bee

Benny is a one-of-a-kind bumble bee. He loves being the only one out of all his friends to be able to grow a beard. His friends aren't too happy about this. They feel he should shave his beard and be just like everyone else. "What's the point of being different?" they ask. "Why should anyone want to stand out from the crowd?" they wonder. When Benny finally listens to all of them and shaves his beard, it puts all of them in danger from the neighborhood bully, Dudley Newbomb. It turned out that Benny's beard not only made him special, but helped keep everyone safe as well. Benny's tale is one that reminds us that we're all special in our own ways.
