Apple ProDOS from the beginning

When this book was new (1984), it was a very popular reference. It is still an important reference/learning tool for those still stuck in the Apple //e, //c and //gs time period. Aside from teaching features of the then-new operating system, the book also shows you how to modify and add to the OS. The first half of the book focuses on the file system, and the last half covers how to customize ProDOS. Several sample utility programs are included, and the book is remarkably easy reading for the complex subjects it covers.
