I loved this book.

This book is so accessible and it takes the reader step-by-step into a new way of seeing and being. It is filled with illustrative stories and exercises which I refer to over and over again.

A Gift for Yourself

If you've ever thought at the end of a day, an hour, a conversation-"what was I doing?", or after a response from someone that totally caught you off-guard "where did that come from", then this book is for you. Too few of us spend much of our time truly awake and conscious-of ourselves, of others, of the world around us. As a result, we cause ourselves and others needless discomfort and pain. We also fail to experience the many gifts that daily life brings...the amazement at the daily wonders that too often pass us by unseen and appreciated.This honest and straightforward work is an invitation and a guide to shed the blinders, to see ourselves and others with honesty and with mercy and to give ourselves and others the gift of living life fully, honestly and consciously.
