A Wonderful Book!

"Bell Bottom Boys" is a compelling piece of historical fiction. The author has a remarkable way of blending elements of fiction with historical facts that keep the reader hooked, eager to read the next page. The book is easy to read and has an enjoyable and rewarding story line. Its protagonist, Gordon, at the age of 16 joins the Merchant Marines, leaves home for the first time, and through his many experiences grows and matures in ways that even he probably never expected, and yet through it all he remains true to himself, never compromising his values. It's a great book, definitely worth buying!
