God has revealed himself in the creation of the world and in the inspiration of Scripture.
In nature, God has not revealed mere traces of his existence, nor mere arguments which prove that he exists, but he has revealed himself as the Creator, Preserver, and Ruler over the whole universe.
Similarly, in the Scriptures, God has revealed himself in Christ. Not only in doctrines concerning his person and work, and not with mere evidences which prove that he is divine, but he has also revealed himself as Savior and as Lord.
Because of this, we must never approach the physical world or the Holy Bible with a neutral attitude. Rather, we are to view all of God's revelation through the eyes of faith, and we are to study it through the logic of faith.
