PHOENIX FORCE IN YUGOSLAVIA

A good read, one that offers up an interesting plot that could have come from today's newspaper headlines. Albania is attempting through use of terrorism, sniper killings, to drive a wedge between Russia and the U.S. hoping in the aftermath to gain control of Yugoslavia. The book mentions many place locations within Yugoslavia, giving information of customs and daily life. Some of the names and words are real tongue twisters for the American tongue, but most GOLD EAGLE readers will be up to the task. Overall, a very intertaining read from William Fieldhouse, an author who has written many GOLD EAGLE books, and he has given us a plot not all that typical for the Phoenix Force guys. Yet a story with all the expected bullet and explosions typical the PF. Semper Fi.
