I created this book to help me and my wife share some of our most important values with our kids. For us, this means being kind and celebrating the differences of ourselves and others. When they were younger, our kids loved the book's rhyming text and illustrations. As they grew, reading the book sparked wonderful conversations about the challenging topics discussed. These include physical appearances, world cultures, natural talents and disabilities, religious beliefs, alternative families and adoption.It's unfortunately too easy these days to focus on what's wrong in the world. Let's instead choose positivity, love and acceptance.
