Behind the Walls with God: A 30-Day Devotional for Correctional Officers

By Carey Randall

Faith, strength, courage, and peace for correctional officers serving behind the walls.

Correctional officers work in places most people will never see and carry burdens most people will never fully understand. Long shifts, danger, disrespect, burnout, trauma, family sacrifice, and constant pressure can test an officer's patience, peace, and faith.

Behind the Walls with God is a 30-day devotional written specifically for correctional officers. Each devotion includes Scripture, a real-world reflection, a daily challenge, and a short prayer to help officers stay grounded before, during, and after the shift.

This devotional speaks to the realities of correctional work, including complacency, integrity, anger, leadership, burnout, family stress, courage, temptation, and peace after hard shifts.

Whether you are a new officer, veteran officer, supervisor, retired correctional professional, or someone who loves and supports a correctional officer, this book is a reminder that God sees the sacrifice, the service, and the strength it takes to stand the post.

Stand your post. Guard your heart. Keep your faith.
