This work investigates the causes of academic dropout, highlights the importance of higher education for economic and social development, and addresses the challenges faced by students and institutions. The authors identify factors such as lack of vocational guidance, financial difficulties, academic demotivation, and deficiencies in educational management as the main causes of dropout.
