The pages of a teenager's secret diary allow us to delve into the dynamics of a flirtation and the illusion of a love that, we soon discover, will not blossom. The two protagonists of the story are young artists who share a passion for dance and, swept away by their dancing, forget to clearly see the vast gap between their lives.
They strategically and carefully send each other messages on WhatsApp to fuel each other's interest and desire, and when together, they wear masks to appear up to each other's expectations and those of their friends, who influence them with gossip and unsolicited advice. However, in doing so, they never truly reveal themselves, nor do they give each other a chance to really get to know one another. Once the fire of attraction dies out, a great sense of emptiness, distance, and misunderstanding remains, which, at least for the diary's author, becomes an opportunity for growth and a matured awareness of what she truly wants to be.
