Awesome Read!

It seems that anthologies so many times consist of one really great story, and then the rest are so dull in comparison. Not this one. I love this book from beginning to end. A must read for all! :)

getting lost in the woods has never been so much fun!

City girl Lacy Buchanan survives the jungle otherwise known as Manhattan every day. There's no way a little wilderness hike in Wyoming is going to undermine her finely tuned survival instincts. That's what she thought before she got lost and winds up alone. Ranger Rick had noticed her leaving the group and went to find her. Sam Becker, AKA Ranger Rick, isn't the experienced backwoods guide that Lacy believes him to be. Sam is taking the summer off from his New York financial firm to help his cousin with his new hiking tour business. Playing tour guide wasn't on his agenda but it should be safe enough as long as everyone stays with the group. He should have known that when there's a woman involved his life is never simple. Lacy's foray into the woods to find a bit of privacy in order to relieve herself results in her getting hopelessly lost. Fortunately, Mr. Grizzly Adams wannabe comes looking for her when she didn't return to the group right away. Unfortunately, their trip back to the main group is riddled with mishaps that result in a broken compass, a dead snake, and a sexual awareness that neither of them can deny. They'll have to rely on each other and common sense in order to make it out of the wilderness unscathed, but not before their animalistic tendencies take over. Loralei James' BABE IN THE WOODS is sure to have women everywhere signing up for hiking expeditions in the hope of getting "lost" with a sexy tour guide all by themselves. Well maybe not, but this book will allow you to indulge in tantalizing baser sexual instinct fantasies without actually having to `rough it' yourself. I had a wonderful time reading this story and adored Lacy's spunky attitude. She never gives up and doesn't back down to Sam. She actually seems to take great delight in antagonizing him. Sam is definitely an alpha male and isn't about to admit that he's not really a guide. He's determined to get them off the mountain passes and prove that he's truly her hero.
