Before You're Ready: How I Built a Media Empire in the Hours the World Forgot About
You are not waiting for the right moment. You are waiting for a feeling that is never going to come.
The feeling of ready. The feeling of prepared enough, qualified enough, experienced enough to begin.
That feeling does not arrive before you start. It arrives - if it arrives at all - somewhere in the middle of having started.
This book is the permission you have been looking for.
Eddy De Brito is Cape Verdean-Portuguese, raised in Vale de Amoreira near Barreiro, Portugal. He played football at a very high level at Norrby IF in Sweden for six years. He has been building DeBrito Media - a podcast, a clothing brand, a property consultancy, an acting career and two feature film scripts - in the hours between a full-time job and the life he is building toward.
He is not famous. He does not have a corner office or a team of twenty. He has a car, a microphone, and an unshakeable belief that the hours other people waste are the hours that will change everything.
In Before You're Ready, he tells the honest story of what building actually looks like - from the inside, in real time, without the benefit of hindsight.
You will learn:
Why the full-time job is not the enemy - it is the launchpadHow to find 30 to 40 hours of building time every week you did not know you hadThe system that makes progress happen without relying on motivationWhy your outsider perspective is your biggest competitive advantageHow to build multiple projects without losing your mindThe 18 to 24 month plan to full-time independenceThis is not a book about overnight success. It is a book about the long game.
About building something real - something that represents who you actually are - in the hours the world forgets about.
The car is parked. The engine is running.
