Bedside Blessings

This is a wonderful book that I received as a gift a couple of years ago. I read the message each night before bedtime. It has a one-line scripture quote and a short paragraph that sometimes is comforting, sometimes give you a "kick in the pants." I ordered this copy to give to a friend.

Bedside blessings.

No matter how tired I am when I go to bed at night, I can always take a minute for a mind/spirit refresher before I go to sleep. There's something so uplifting about focusing on the provisions of our Creator before ending the day. This is a great short, to-the-point devotional.

Quick daily illumination and peace

Chuck Swindoll has a way with words, a love for God and a way to get the message across, into your mind and heart, that resonates. This book, taken one day at a time, takes but a few minutes to read daily and yet leaves you thinking about it much longer. That's power. Highly recommended. I even purchased copies for two friends.

Short, simple thoughts

This is a wonderful , comforting book to use at night, simple way to get in a devotional right before bed. You think a little more , and realize how wonderful life is, and life seems a little calmer. I gave this book as a gift ,and reorder two more , as gifts when many where asking where to obtain the book from, it is a good one.

This book is great. Many evenings it seems like he wrote to me personally. Swindoll always rates A-1 with me, but this is one of my favorites.
