Looking for the Lord

These devotionals give you a thought a day. Use that thought in your daily routine and see the difference it can make. I enjoyed reading through these devotionals. As someone who is exploring and trying to live a renewed Godly life this book made a difference in my thought process.

Encouragement for keeping your eyes on Christ

I have read many books by Cynthia Heald and this is one of my favorites. If you are looking for a devotional book that focuses your eyes on Christ, this is it. The thirty-one daily devotions are short, but packed with wisdom. There is a scripture verse to focus on, insight from the author, a quote from another Christian author or authority, a thought question, and a prayer. The wisdom that she packs into each short devotional can only come from someone who has walked with Christ for a long time. I will reread this book over and over in the years ahead. I have already begun giving it to others as a gift because of the encouragement and insight it has brought to me.
