The wickedly funny fourth book in the #1 New York Times bestselling series that inspired the original hit CW show and the new series coming to HBO Max's Spring 2020 launch season (alongside hit series such as Pretty Little Liars and Friends). Everyone who's anyone in New York City is suffering from post-college-application cabin fever, and it's time to run a little wild Could it be that Serena is smitten with Blair's stepbrother, or will the Fashion Week parties pull her away from any attempt at true love? Dan and Vanessa are mad about each other and pursuing their creative dreams...but be careful of what you wish for. Nate hits an all-time low as Blair's Yale interview with a tall, handsome alum takes an unexpected turn, and Jenny makes a new friend who gets a little too close for comfort. And just who is going to get into college early acceptance? Wintertime has never been hotter in NYC as things steam up all over Fifth Avenue.
I certainly wouldn't have bought this on my own for my 12-year old granddaughter, but after listening to the lyrics on some of her songs, I realized that you can't censor them, but have to rely on whatever values you've been able to instill earlier on. She really loves this stuff; I have absolutely no idea what it is about.
Gossip Girl is still going strong!!!!!!!!

This book is a must read for all you Gossip Girl Fans. Serena is still a goddess, Blair's insecure as ever, and Nate is still a pothead. I say no more, just make sure you read this book! I can't wait until the next one. And the question still lies unanswered.......... who is gossip girl?
Just as good as I expected!

Having read all of the others with Blair as my ultimate favorite character, I couldn't wait to see if she got into Yale. I 'll still have to wait on that one, but Blair surprises us a little in this book. her heart is suddenly not two sizes too small. She does some nice things for Jenny and the other freshmen girls she is in charge of, and she is still psycho about getting into Yale. I think she might give up life if she thought it would help her get into Yale!Vanessa and Dan both get lucky in this book, and become almost famous. they deal with it differently, however, Vanessa's more favorably than Dan's...Nate gets busted finally (and we all thought that kind of thing just didn't happen to guys like Nate!), and his rehab experiance is funny and amusing. Georgina Sparks, a new character (who I personally like), attracts Nates attention...Serena and Aaron start off as cute as ever and they seem to be the happiest people in the world. Eventually, though, they have to break up. Serena has to be with a different boy in every book or she'll just bore herself to death...Jenny/Jennifer begins to grow up a make some new friends. but maybe they're not what she expected?
The Best One Yet

I have read the entire Gossip Girl series and I must say that this is the best one yet. While I admit that part of my intial appeal to it was the mention of a certain Orange Pigskin Hermes Birkin Bag, I have now grown to know and love these charcters. This is certainly not your average teen book. In addition to more sex, drugs, and rock-and-roll than ever, we see our favorite characters all trying something new. We witness college acceptances, rejections, and everything else. I would tell you about the surprises we see from Blair, Nate, Serena, Jenny, Chuck, Vanessa, Dan, and the rest of the upper-east side socialites, but I totally don't want to ruin it for you! Just get the book and read it! You'll be addicted, baby!
The Most Amazing Gossip Girl Yet

This long awaited fouth installment of the Gossip Girl novels lives up to it's hype. The characters all change in so many ways that if you haven't recently read (or re-read, as in my case) the past three novels, you might get them confused. While both Serena and Nate take the incredibly predictable route, Blair, Dan, and Jennifer most certainly do not. Perhaps this book has one too many twists and does not tie up all the loose ends by its finish, but it is incredibly addicting and teriffic nontheless. The author said it best herself in the first novel : "Gossip is sexy, gossip is good. Not everyone does it but everyone should"
