Published By: Elite Book Writers I've been writing poetry since I was a teenager, off and on, and have enjoyed doing that. I have always wanted to have a book published because I felt my poems would touch someone's heart. I started writing again five years ago when my son Travis passed. I have written 900 for him, and grief in general, and how I've gotten through this difficult journey. I want to thank the Lord for giving me the words to write, and I give Him all the credit. He has been by my side the whole time that I've been grieving. He has gotten me through these last years of heartache that I have from losing my son. I have put the poems into two books and hope they will comfort those grieving. I want to thank my daughter Lindsay for her encouragement throughout this process and Howard, who made this book of poems happen. I dedicate this book to my only son, Travis , and my late husband, Mark.
