Beautifully Made

By Kay Edwards

Crissy Wood is young, rich, and beautiful. What else could a girl her age want? As long as she has her social life at clubs, which cater to her social status, she has everything life has to offer and wants for nothing. With a series of tabloid worthy actions, Crissy's father has had enough of the child he raised and spoiled. Seeing a way to reform his daughter, Oliver seeks the help of an old friend, Conner O'Malley. Shocking the younger man, Oliver lays out his plan. Sensing the desperation, Conner speaks to his wife's family. As push comes to shove, Crissy is given to the Miller family in an attempt to help her grow up. What Oliver sees and what the Miller see are two different views. As Josiah Miller works with Crissy to complete Mr. Wood's expectations, he sees a woman that isn't spoiled. Josiah sees a woman who's actions are screaming for love. He sees a woman hurting herself in an addiction she can't see. As the two form a fragile friendship, Crissy's heart warms to the Savior she sees in Josiah's life. When a heartbreaking betrayal slams into Crissy's life, the Millers stand firm with her against the storm. Fighting addiction and heartache together, Josiah and Crissy's friendship grows, but will it grow into something more? Find out as you take a journey of God's plan for Crissy's life as she finds out that she is indeed, Beautifully Made.
