Beautiful Hardship My Story

Are you kidding me? Did I really live this life? B. Michael Fett is the epitomy of "never give up." Lessons to be learned and laughs to be had, it's all in these pages. Take it to the beach, take it on a plane or settle into bed with it, doesn't matter, it's still a must read!

Great Read

This book is an entertaining read while also being a moving, motivational story. Fett calls it like he sees it, detailing how the most inspiration people in our lives are often found in unlikely places. A must read!

Read of the Week

Where does a guy who is just forty years old get the gonads to write an autobiography? Read this book and you will understand; Mr. Fett has packed more into his (thus far short) lifespan, more experiences, than many octogenarians can lay claim to. Some people are blessed. They set a goal for themselves and they reach it. They have fulfilling lives. Mr. Fett wasn't quite so lucky. He set a goal and in trying to reach it, saw it all crash down around him. His goal destroyed his marriage, his health, and ultimately his desire to reach that goal. So he picked himself up and gave up that goal for something loftier; set his sights higher. And this time around lost his home, his possessions, and wound up living on the streets in a truck. At this point a lot of us would have taken the ball and gone home. BEATUIFUL HARDSHIP, My Story is a tale of determination against all odds, the chronicle of one mans refusal to simply stay down when it seemed that the cosmos were plotting to knock him out. Interesting autobiography

Mr. Fett has written an autobiography covering his life from childhood until the present day. One must ask that because the aulthor is only in his early 40's, does he have enough material to reflect on? A fair question and one I would answer as...yes! Mr. Fett's story is a gripping one and demonstrates that if one perseveres there is nothing that cannot be accomplished. Mr. Fett's reflections of his youth, service in the U.S. Marine Corps and ultimate caeer of flying commercial aircraft is an interesting and at times exciting tale. Read this book! A good one to take to the beach.

Beautiful Hardship, My Story

The book was excellent. It was so easy to read that I read it in one sitting. The stories brought you in as if you were there. I highly recommend this book for Aviators and Non-Aviators alike!
