You beast not expect too much

Cheap, cheesy black and white. Stilted dialog. Screenwriter Charles B. Griffith (1930–2007) collaborated on “Barbarella” (1968). Icky, what passes as music by Alexander Laszlo. Bad guys (no black hats but bad accents) come to Deadwood, South Dakota, to do a little gold pilfering. They naturally have to bring along Gypsy Boulet (Sheila Carol or Sheila Noonan) so we can be distracted from their insidious plot. Naturally, bimbo Gypsy Boulet falls prey to patsy Gil Jackson (Michael Forest); it is sort of a love interest also as a distraction from the plot going awry. As one by one, it looks like they become monster chow. And from the title, what do you think is in the Broken Boot Mine? Oh, what a tangled web we weave.
