Unique and Amusing for All Readers

Vignettes with teddy bears portraying notables from Carrie Nation and "Typhoid Mary" Mallon, to Alfred Kinsey and John Chapman, aka Johnny Appleseed make you smile as you read the captions about their accomplishments. Witty, eclectic and entertaining for all ages. Includes the inventors of the BBQ grill and microwave (previously unknown to me) as well as widely known figures like Smokey Bear, Fidel Castro, and of course, Theodore Roosevelt (did you know he hated being called "Teddy?"). I bought it for my daughter who loves bears, recommend it for other parents as a whimsical way to introduce kids to names of people they should know. We're waiting for a sequel, this genre is really fun.
