From being out of work after a second episode of psychosis leading to near the end of this book when I began painting student residence for a neighbour leading to a career in contract painting. Beginning jobless still living with roommates after not working for part of a year writing this book during 2003 while still smoking weed all day and night enjoying the odd brew among friends. There are many poems that talk about my struggle with wanting to quit cigarettes and the fear about a future of smoking. These verses are an exploration of a young adult mind trying to figure out which directions to go.
