I liked this book a lot even though I'm not use to this author's way of writing. I'm use to R.L. Stine strategies. Since I've read so many of his books (he's a great author)! I didn't always know what was going to happen in this book. This was the first book I read of hers. The book is about teenagers in high school trying to get by on the easy way of life. There's a girl named Allison and she has had a crush on a boy named David for along time. Another girl named Leslie moves into the same neighborhood as Allison; they become the best of friends. Leslie starts dating David, but David doesn't like Leslie as a girlfriend. So he try's to get Allison's attention. David's cousin Mark comes to town and goes to school he like Sandy (rude, annoying girl in school). In the end Mark is with Leslie and Allison's with David and ever thing is great! I think everyone wood like this book because it is about reality.

This book was great because the author showed lots of detail. It was a sad book to me,but it was great.
