In our time, as in many others, evil has taken the field and threatens God's people. But dragons, pharaohs, Philistines, and sickness, poverty, death, and doubt are only allowed their hour to demonstrate God's power-not the Devil's-and to give humanity an opportunity to participate in the victory!

So may our children's prayer ever be, "Here I am Lord, send me!"
