Fun & Funny

Lighten up, NANCY! This book is meant to be FUN. It's not a BIBLE. I think the authors have enough respect for the readers to think we can THINK for ourselves. I'm a 40-year old woman who has never had a hard time showing her bad-ass side, and the friends & men in my life like me this way, though they sometimes fight against it! That "edge" comes with the territory- if you want a smart, funny, interesting woman in your life, guess what? She may have a bad girl lurking just below the surface. These books are all hilariously funny and completely respectful of the women they're geared towards- I'm suprised someone like Nancy even picked it up! Did she stumble into the wrong aisle? I loved this one, and really enjoyed the Guide to the Open Road- coffee almost shot out of my nose as I read it in the bookstore cafe. FUN!!!

OOOH FUN!

I just got this journal a week or so ago. The whole thing is guided with tons of questions and checklists. You get to make up your bad girl alias, put pictures of yourself and friends in it, all sorts of fun stuff. And it's got a durable plastic cover. 5 stars.

Finally!

Finally, a book that encourages women to engage in the very same behaviour that men are celebrated for! Instead of encouraging the "nice girls don't" attitude, Cameron Tuttle thumbs her nose at the double-standard of slut/stud social implications and tells women to just go for it! And not only that, but write it down! Have fun! And to that, I say huzzah!!

ok this is just the sweetest book in the world... it's a totally new spin on books like "the 7 habits of highly effective teens" and other self-help books of the like. every page is like an activity, with it's purpose being self-exploration. i guarantee you you will find yourself by the end of this book... it's not just any journal, it's a guided manual to being a bad girl!

This is the ultimate girlfriend cheer up book! If you are between the ages of 18 and 85 this book will make you laugh, feel empowered and wonder why you own so many sensible shoes. It's all about fun. It provides useful information about dating (Free food!), picking girl friends (bad girl friends vs bad girlfriends) and embracing your inner badness.
