Bdote ("where two waters come together") for SSAA. Bdote is located at the confluence of the Mississippi and Minnesota Rivers. The music is composed of two rounds - Wakpa Mnisota and Haha Wakpa - representing the two rivers. These two 'river rounds' are sung separately and then together. The piece is organized into five sections that depict the various qualities of the two rivers: 1. Bdote ("where two waters come together")-Grand and Stately2. Wakpa Mnisota (Minnesota River Round)-Spacious and Unhurried3. Haha Wakpa (Mississippi River Round)-Animated and Joyful4. Bdote (reprise)-Grand and Stately5. Two Waters Come Together-Slightly Faster
