The Battle of the Alamo by Carmen Bredeson is about people from different states who defend Texas' independence. I think they should have gotten reinforcements before the war started. The author Carmen Brendeson writes books about history that will make you feel like you are there. People who love history and battles should read this is a good book. I give it five stars!
