Battalion Dismiss is a biographical story centered around a program I joined during high school that completely changed my life. The program in question is a Marine Junior Officer Reserve Officers Training Corps (MCJROTC) which is sometimes frowned upon by many as a tool to train kids out of high school to join the military. The biography is told from my perspective and how I perceived it before I joined, the four years I was in high school, and the years after I graduated. Not only did the program change who I was as a person, it also created unbreakable bonds between myself and those who I met. It became more than just an adventure for me, but a story that had to be told in its entirety from beginning to end.
