Although there are a lot of interesting pictures of bats in this book, there are also a lot of false statements. For example, this book states that bats are the only mammals that can fly, which is not true. I've seen other mammals fly. Also, this book claims that bats have hair or fur, not feathers. This may be true in most cases. But in some cases, bats have feathers. In spite of these factual errors, this book is worth buying because it does a good job of explaining why bats are scary and appropriate for Halloween.
