A Quick Reference guide to some of the key characters of the Batman Universe

This is not the only character encyclopedia that DK has published for DC Comics. The first covered the majority of major DC Comics characters. But this one narrows the focus onto the core heroes, rogues, and those in between, of the Batman mythos. Characters overlooked by the prior book, and focusing on the Bat Clan, his allies, his enemies, and everyone else. This book is not an in-depth look of each character, but is a simple primer on who each character is, some of their strengths and weaknesses, friends and foes. For more in-depth information you'd have to read the comics (or Wikipedia). But it's still a great resource for discovering characters most fans of the Dark Knight or Caped Crusader have never heard of.
