Bathed in Dragon's Milk: A Forbidden Human & Dragon Dark Fantasy Romance

By W Bevan

He climbed the mountain to kill a dragon. He never expected to become hers.

At twenty-four, Alaric wants glory.

When a dragon claims a nearby mountain, he joins the knights sent to destroy it, believing this could finally be the battle that makes his name.

Instead, his companions are slaughtered.

Burned, torn open, and barely alive, Alaric expects the dragon to finish what she started.

She saves him instead.

Her name is Veyra.

Ancient, feared, and hunted by humans for generations, the dark-blue dragon should see Alaric as nothing more than another enemy. Yet something about the wounded knight awakens a strange instinct within her-a need to protect him, care for him, and keep him close.

Then that need begins to change.

As Alaric heals inside Veyra's mountain home, fear becomes curiosity. Curiosity becomes trust. And when Veyra's body begins changing, the forbidden attraction between man and dragon becomes something neither of them expected-or knows how to resist.

What follows challenges everything Alaric thought he understood about dragons, desire, love, and who truly claimed whom.

From W. Bevan, author of The Girl the Dragon Kept, comes a provocative new adult dark fantasy romance exploring one forbidden question:

What if the knight sent to kill the dragon fell for her instead?

Bathed in Dragon's Milk is a fast-paced adult fantasy romance novella featuring an unconventional human/dragon relationship, enemies-to-lovers tension, telepathic bonding, dragon biology, pregnancy and egg-laying themes, lactation, mature sexual themes, fantasy violence, and a surprisingly tender story beneath it all.
