Physics is the mother of all Engineering subjects. Basic principles presented in this book are from electricity and electronics as electricity and electronics interrelated subjects. Without fundamentals of any subject no one can go for deeper knowledge in subject. Hence objective this book is to present basic principles of electricity and electronics in a clearer and interesting manner. In Chapter 1, foundations are presented. Current and voltage are two important parameters in electronics circuits, controlling mechanism plays an important role, more foundations are given in this chapter. Chapter 2, deals with ac circuits. Voltage and current depend with time (frequency) and wave forms, related formulas are given in this chapter. In Chapter 3 basic circuit laws like Kirchoff's current law and Kirchoff's voltage law are discussed. Chapter 4 deals with time constant of RC and RL circuits. In chapter 5, network theorems like Thevenin, Norton, Milliman theorems discussed. Resonance in LCR series and parallel circuits presented in chapter 6. Filter circuits are discussed in chapter 7. Knowledge of semiconductor devices and their basics are presented in chapter 8. Finally basic formulas of digital electronics are given in chapter 9.
